The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, together with Club Marine, is pleased to announce the inaugural Club Marine Pittwater Sail Expo, a community event to be held over the weekend of March 24-25, 2012 in and around the RPAYC clubhouse and floating marina.
Situated on beautiful Pittwater on Sydney’s northern beaches, the RPAYC is NSW’s largest sailing club and is home to over 1700 members, more than 300 yachts, 70 hardstand boats and 100 dinghies. Visitors to the expo are invited to experience the RPAYC firsthand, have a look at sail boats, gather information about training, racing, cruising, kids programs and membership and receive professional advice directly from industry experts.
Club Marine NSW State Manager, Corey Yeung said the Club Marine Pittwater Sail Expo will be a community event that promises to be an interesting, involving and fun weekend for everyone.
We invite visitors to drop in and have a look and with no entrance charge to the expo, we’re expecting lively participation.
Anyone with an interest in sail boats or who would like to get into sailing is invited to come along. The Volunteer Marine Rescue will run a sausage sizzle and raffles, NSW Maritime and the Water Police will be there, as will exhibitors who supply goods and services to professional and leisure sailors.
