Wyndham Harbour on track

Construction on Melbourne’s Wyndham Harbour marina has commenced, with 30,000 tonnes of rock ready to be placed into the water to form the breakwater, which will be the backbone of the new marina.

Work on the marina is expected to be completed by the end of 2013 and will provide up to 1000 berths and up to 390 dry boat storage slots in the only approved safe boat harbour between Williamstown and Geelong.

Once complete, the world-class lifestyle and boating hub will include a marina, safe boat harbour, waterfront homes and apartments, new walking and bike trails, lush green parks, beaches and the vibrant central Marina Square retail area.
