Six of the Best! winner

Club Marine subscriber and member, Victorian Tony Gannon, wasn’t sure at first what we were telling him when the Club Marine team called to say he had won our latest Six of the Best! prize.

The initial communication hiccup may have had something to do with the noise level in the train he was travelling on – somewhere in Italy! But when Tony at last understood what our phone call was about, his tone quickly changed from sceptical to enthusiastic.

“How’s that for unbelievable – winning a holiday back at home while you’re on holiday in Europe! That’s the best!”

Tony’s name came up first in the draw for Club Marine’s Six of the Best! Ultimate Tranquility experience exploring Victoria’s Gippsland Lakes. Along with a travel partner, he’ll enjoy four days aboard a Bulls Cruisers fully-equipped charter boat to cruise at his leisure around one of Australia’s most beautiful protected waterways. Then he’ll transfer to a luxury waterfront apartment at Captain’s Cove on the Paynesville canals to spend a further three nights enjoying the best the region has to offer.

“This is wonderful; I’ve been to the Gippsland Lakes several times and know the area well. It’s really nice there and I can’t wait to go again!”

In the August/September issue, Club Marine takes readers to New Zealand’s North Island on the ultimate adventure with Explore NZ. To be in the draw to win the last Six of the Best! ultimate on-water experience, all readers need do is ensure they have a current subscription to Club Marine before the final draw on September 10.
