Club Marine SYC Centenary Trophy Regatta

Ski for Life
Following on from its successful Centenary Trophy Regatta last year, Melbourne’s Sandringham Yacht Club (SYC) will host the fourth Club Marine SYC Centenary Trophy Regatta on Saturday, April 26.

The one-day event was initiated at SYC’s inaugural centenary event in 2011, when over 100 boats took part. “It was so successful, the club decided to make it an annual event to mark the end of the summer season,” SYC Club Captain Sail, Ashley Trebilcock, said.

The SYC invites all boating enthusiasts from around Victoria to participate in a number of fleet racing events. Entry is open to IRC, AMS and PHS yachts, along with J24 One-design keelboats. Other vessels (power and sail) are invited to take part in a family-friendly rally-style event suitable for those who prefer not to race as hard.

All participants are welcome to the trophy presentation and to stay on to enjoy the ambience of SYC’s award-winning marina and Harbour View Restaurant, with its unrivalled views of Port Phillip Bay, the SYC Marina and Sandringham Harbour.
