Club Marine member Stephen Peate, of Newcastle in NSW, (pictured with his wife Lynda) is the happy winner of the first prize to be given away in Club Marine’s 30th Birthday Bonanza
promotion and is delighted to have won a six-night fishing trip for two to Fiji as part of the celebrations.
“My wife Lynda and I are very excited about winning this fantastic prize!
“We visited Fiji in 1986 for a ‘belated’ honeymoon and it was a wonderful holiday. We’re very excited about going back after all this time, we can’t wait!”
Having just bought their first-ever boat in October last year - a 2010 Larson 1750 Bowrider - the Peate’s say they’re really enjoying having a boat and love getting out in it.
“Lake Macquarie is just a 10 minute drive from where we live. We’ve also been up to Port Stephens and enjoy exploring some of the rivers around here … a boat is such a great way to get around, you discover things you wouldn’t normally see and it adds so much fun to our lives.”
And while Stephen’s fishing adventures haven’t yet brought him much luck, we’re hoping that will change when the experienced fishing charter crews at their Fijian holiday destination show him the ropes - even Lynda is looking forward to wetting a line.
“Thank you Club Marine for this holiday to Fiji, we’re very excited!”
And as Club Marine’s 30th Birthday Bonanza
promotion continues throughout the year, anyone* purchasing or renewing their insurance with Club Marine could go into the running to win one of the remaining five fantastic fishing and bareboat chartering packages, or one of three Sea-Doo Spark personal watercraft, or one of 30 crates of mixed wines from Laithwaite’s Wine People.
To be eligible, entrants just need to be a subscriber* to Club Marine Magazine
when each of the draws are conducted throughout the promotion, which closes on January 6, 2016.
