Riviera released a new 37 Flybridge Convertible at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show. The new model sits between the 36 and the 40, which started Riviera's new styling era. It is based more on the 36 twin-cabin of which some 200 have been sold worldwide.

The hull has the successful Riviera underwater shape, but it has been tweaked out to 11.56m (37'11") and the beam has been increased slightly to 4.23m (13'10"). The styling from the topsides up is new but still keeps the traditional Riviera look. The sidedecks are a little wider and the foredeck is not as high as the smaller model. The corners of the transom have also been rounded.

And there is a more rounded styling of the flybridge. The dash panel has been restyled with the instruments in an elliptical panel and there is room in front of the helmsman for three passengers.

Down below the 37 gives the impression of a much larger boat, with a bigger saloon area and a large dinette. For serious fishermen the craft has an improved transom door and padded combings.

A live bait tank, set in the transom, and Reelax outriggers are options. Powered by twin Cummins B330 diesels, the 37 is easy to handle and is happy in a slightly trimmed up mode as it powers along at a top speed of around 28 knots.
