Simrad
33 Series
Quin Marine, distributors of the Simrad range of marine electronics,
has announced the arrival of the 33 Series.
The 33 Series includes the Simrad CP33 Chartplotter, CE33 Chartsounder
and EQ33 Sounder. Featuring a six-inch sunlight viewable LCD display
in full colour or monochrome, the units are waterproof and can be
mounted in exposed cockpits and flybridges.

transmitted from high orbiting geostationary satellites from WAAS,
EGNOS and MSAS. The charting system runs C-MapNT+ cartography, providing
vectorised charts to facilitate the call up of additional information
on tide stations, ports, navigational marks etc. The software incorporates
the latest Simrad chartplotting features such as chart orientation
for north up, head up or nav up.

allowing the fishfinder to search to a depth of 800 metres. Two
frequencies of 50kHz or 200kHz provide the user with the option
of a sea bottom view or a more detailed mid-view.
