Swan 53

Nautor Swan recently announced the latest addition to the SwanLine, the Swan 53.

The Swan 53 joins an improved range of models, including the recently launched Swan 46 and 75 and is offered in a choice of two keel and rudder alternatives. A standard traditional fin keel and rudder or the optional dagger-board keel and twin rudders, which gives this boat a draft of 1.4 metres, are available.

With three spacious cabins, the Swan 53 is able to accommodate up to eight people.

A non-overlapping jib and double sweptback spreaders increase comfort and safety, while the twin wheels allow greater movement in the cockpit.

According to designer, German Frers, who has designed Swans since 1979, the Swan 53 “offers her owners a boat that allows for maximum living space on board, but does not sacrifice the performance that makes for exciting sailing.”
