Mustang Marine recently launched its stunning new 430 Sports Coupe at its Gold Coast headquarters in January.

The interior of the 430 is finished with American black walnut floors and high-gloss American cherry cabinetry, with Italian leather for the saloon lounge and helm chair. The high-quality Italian influence also extends to the door handles and taps, with solid surface worktops in the galley and bar area and a porcelain vanity bowl.

The cockpit area features an optional teak floor, large ice-box and easy access through to the saloon via the large opening bulkhead door and electric galley window.

The distinctive profile of the 430 Sports Coupe features wide walk-around side decks and cockpit steps, high bow rails and many conveniently positioned hand rails to ensure the utmost safety when onboard. The large boot storage area includes outboard brackets, fender storage plus a fold-out BBQ, and there is an optional hydraulic swim platform.

Access to the engine room is via an electrically-controlled hatch, with the engine room and serviceable areas featuring plenty of roomy access. Building on the popularity of pod-drive propulsion across the Mustang range, the 430 Sports Coupe is equipped with a pod-drive joystick docking system and is powered by twin Volvo Diesel D6 – IPS 600 – 435hp engines.

Bavaria 35 Cruiser

Bavaria 35 Cruiser

Bavaria Yachts recently announced the latest model to join its Cruiser family, the Bavaria 35 Cruiser. Based on the hull and deck of the Bavaria 34 Cruiser, this new model is a three-cabin version. Named to reflect the true size of this yacht, the new 35 Cruiser will have a fresh interior design and many innovative features.

An adjustable bulkhead in the aft cabin allows for two configurations: two equal berths or one large/one small berth can be created. The large head and shower is located in the starboard-aft section of the saloon. The forward cabin is the same as the 34 two-cabin version. Drawer storage is provided under the berth.

Designed to be stowed up to create more seating space, the chart table is hinged on the bulkhead facing forward into the saloon by the starboard settee. The galley is situated on the port side of the saloon opposite the head and shower and forward of the port aft cabin. A large front-loading fridge has been located under the saloon table.

The Bavaria 35 Cruiser will suit families requiring three cabins, the charter market and those wanting maximum cabins and generous cockpit space. Bavaria Yachts says that, since the 35 is based on the hugely successful Bavaria 34, sailing performance is guaranteed.

Bayliner 175 Bowrider

Australian distributor Berowra Waters Wholesale and manufacturer US Marine are celebrating 20 years together by releasing a number of new, limited edition Bayliner 175 Bowriders.

The 20th Anniversary Australian Edition 175 includes unique extras in a special configuration that is visually distinct from all standard production models. For the first time, the hulls are black in colour and utilise unique hull accents referencing ‘Guelphia’, a pre-federation proposal for the subdivision of Australia into 10 states.

The 20th Anniversary Australian Edition 175 Bowrider has a spacious cockpit, courtesy of Bayliner’s beam-forward design, which pushes the widest point forward to create more useable space. The seating plan is ideal for enjoying the company of family and friends, with two portside sleeper seats that convert to sun lounges and two aft jump seats.

The 20th Anniversary Australian Edition 175 also features a sports steering wheel upgrade over the standard model and is equipped with a waterproof stereo system with plug-and-play compatibility for all digital formats. To keep the focus on the sound, Bayliner uses directionally aimed speakers and a new sealed engine cover with sound insulation to keep the noise down in the cockpit.

The hull of the 20th Anniversary Australian Edition 175 is equipped with an 80lt fuel tank and powered by a 3.0lt/135hp MerCruiser Alpha I engine, which can reach speeds up to 85km/h.
