Stacer 549 Sportster

Stacer calls the 549 Sportster the ‘perfect watersports package’. It carries up to seven adults, giving them the space to relax on the deluxe sun lounge and listen to music via a CD stereo and speakers (as standard) while the kids enjoy skiing, tubing or wakeboarding.

There is extra storage space for gear in the 549, including upholstered side pockets, underfloor ski locker, bow storage and easy-to-access storage compartments under the sun lounge.

Stacer’s range of bowrider sterndrives feature the company’s new EVO Advance Hull, which has a sharper bow entry and a deeper V. The 549 comes with a 3lt, 135hp MerCruiser sterndrive engine and has a 95lt underfloor fuel tank.

The 549 Sportster is available in a ‘Ready 2 Go’ package, which includes boat, motor and trailer, all backed by a three-year factory warranty.

Savage 345 Jabiru

Savage Boats, Australia’s oldest manufacturer of aluminium boats, recently launched the 345 Jabiru, an entry-level boat designed to provide countless hours of fishing adventure.

The 345 Jabiru is small and solid. With an overall length of 3.48m and a 1.53m beam, the Jabiru has the capacity to carry three people comfortably, with plenty of space left over for fishing gear and equipment.

Weighing in at 79kg, the Jabiru is agile on the water, easy to manoeuvre off the beach and can be easily towed behind the family car, says Savage Boats, adding that a 15hp engine is more than enough power to get the Jabiru to favourite fishing spots.

The Jabiru can be optioned up with a carpeted lower floor, rod holders and casting platform to increase comfort and stability on those long fishing outings.

Other options are two-tone paint, full-length side rails, bimini and envelope. Like all Savage boats, the 345 Jabiru comes with a three-year limited factory warranty on the boat, motor and trailer.

470 Top Ender

Originally designed for the top end of Australia, the Top Ender models from Quintrex have become a popular fishing favourite Australia-wide, known for their ability when fishing open water, estuaries and river systems.

The 470 Top Ender features a combination of Quintrex’s Millennium Hull and Flared Bow; together, these two features make for one of the driest rides available in the aluminium boat market, says Quintrex.

With an overall length of 4.96m and a beam of 2.09m, the 470 Top Ender is a tough medium-sized boat. The 1.6mm top sides are clinker-pressed for added strength and, with 3mm bottom sides, the 470 Top Ender is definitely a sturdy craft.

The 470 also features all the fishing favourites such as a live bait tank, rod holders, skipper fold-down seat with multiple seating positions and a Mark-5X fishfinder.

The 470 Top Ender can be optioned with a bimini and envelope, transom step and rail, burley bucket, bow-mount thruster plate, two-tone paint, bucket seats or even a ski pole.

Bar Crusher 670HT

Constructed from heavy-duty, prestressed 5mm (bottom sides) and 4mm (top sides) marine-grade plate aluminium, the 670HT is a trailerable rig that delivers a smooth ride in tough conditions, says Bar Crusher.

Measuring 6.70m LOA with a 2.35m beam, the 670HT features Bar Crusher’s unique Waveslicer non-pounding deep-V hull and the Rigideck sub-floor system for maximum hull strength in all conditions.

The 670HT is also equipped with Bar Crusher’s Quickflow water-ballast technology. A cavity that runs the full length of the keel quickly fills with water when the boat is stationary, which lowers the chines into the water for greater stability. It drains in seconds as the boat moves forward to allow it to leap onto the plane.

Rated to carry a 175hp outboard, the 670HT has a 200lt fuel tank, a huge cockpit fishing area and a heavy-duty treadplate deck. Optional extras include an anchor winch and forward bunks.

Integrity Motor Yachts has announced the arrival of the latest model in its range of cruising passage-makers. Explorer 50

Australia Yachts has a new class of Motor Yachts under construction: the Explorer 50, or E-Class.

The new Explorer E-Class is similar in concept to the Mercedes E-Class, which is renowned for its spaciousness and exceptional durability. According to Australia Yachts, the Explorer 50 will offer the style, performance and fuel efficiency that boating enthusiasts have come to expect from Australia Yachts, with less maintenance and more space.

Designers at Australia Yachts say the Explorer E-Class has many of the same features of the Secret Harbour range: Zeus drives, fold-down swim platform and exceptional sea worthiness.

The Explorer E-Class is capable of a range of 700nm at 20 knots (37km/h), or can burn just 6lt/hour at five knots (9km/h), making it a cost-effective exploration vessel.

The new model is the result of Australia Yacht’s focus on creating a great all-round cruiser that people can use to explore further from their home ports in a shorter time-frame while significantly reducing the cost of ownership, says Australia Yachts.
