Two reasons to celebrate!

Grand Prize handover

We’ve had a busy start to the year here at Club Marine headquarters – we had not one, but two great reasons to celebrate!

First up and most importantly, we announced the winner of our Boatloads of Fun grand prize – Club Marine member and Club Marine Magazine subscriber Craig Butler (Vic), who couldn’t believe his luck when we called with the good news.

The joy couldn’t be greater in the Butler household, especially during the official handover of the prize package, including the fully equipped, Mercury-powered Northbank 600C boat on a Mackay trailer, and an Isuzu D-MAX LS-T utility, valued jointly at more than $155,000.

Craig became a Boatloads of Fun contender when he recently purchased a new Sea-Doo jetski from Melbourne Sea-Doo, insuring it with Club Marine, along with a subscription to Club Marine Magazine – and he was understandably ecstatic when he got the call.

“Absolutely unbelievable!” was one of the only printable responses we could share, apart from Craig predicting that he would be making the most of the Northbank/Isuzu package.

“I can’t thank Club Marine enough – it’s a real life-changing win for us!” Boatloads of Fun grand prize handover

All major prize partners were represented at the official handover at Northbank dealership, Melbourne Marine Centre in the Melbourne suburb of Hallam.

“Congratulations to Craig and his family,” said Club Marine CEO Simon McLean (pictured, congratulating the Butler family). “It’s great to be able to present our grand prize to such a great boating family. And I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our great Boatloads of Fun grand prize partners, including Northbank, Isuzu, Mackay Trailers and Mercury Marine.”

And just when we thought we couldn’t handle any more excitement, Club Marine Magazine was confirmed top of the crop, with the Audited Media Association of Australia (AMAA) again confirming that Club Marine is Australia’s highest circulation audited magazine following the release of its latest figures for the July-December, 2017, period.

We’re very excited to announce that Club Marine’s Australian circulation was confirmed as 91,403 (including 4391 NZ subscribers), making it by far Australia’s highest circulation AMAA audited magazine. This also represents an increase of 1.85 per cent over the corresponding July/Dec 2016 audit period, demonstrating strong audience growth.

If you’re a Club Marine subscriber, we’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you – thanks a bunch for helping make Club Marine Australia’s favourite marine lifestyle magazine (again).Club Marine Magazine fan
