Events and boat shows

We’ve got a bunch of tickets for the 2018 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show to give away to members! You'll find details on how to go into the draw below, along with a few other events worth checking out.

Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) is this year celebrating its 30th anniversary, from May 24 to 27.

With more than 300 exhibitors expected, the show will feature an exciting program of events across several popular precincts, including a new Sports, Leisure and Fishing Boats precinct dedicated to trailerable craft. The new 5000sq m outdoor space will showcase day boats, weekenders, RIBs, aluminium and fiberglass fishing boats, and high-performance ski and tow boats in a mix of imported and Australian-made vessels.

And for Club Marine members – we’re giving away 25 double passes for SCIBS 2018. To enter into the draw, members can email by May 1, 2018. Please include ‘Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show’ in the subject line. The winners will be drawn on May 4 and notified by return email. The prize includes event tickets only.

Meanwhile, discounted tickets are available online at – purchase a one-day pass online for $20 before the show or $25 at the gate. Families have free admission for children under 15 years.

Members are reminded to stop by the Club Marine stand to receive your free gift – you’ll find us on the promenade outside the main pavilion. While you’re there, why not chat to our friendly team about your boat insurance needs, explore the Club Marine App, watch Club Marine TV, and grab a complimentary copy of Club Marine Magazine.

Offering free on-water demonstrations and training clinics, the Malibu Just Ride Tour provides an opportunity for people from all areas, backgrounds and watersport skills to try wakeboarding or wakesurfing in a safe, fun and professionally supported environment.

Supported by Malibu Boats Australia and proudly presented by Club Marine, the 2017-18 Just Ride Tour provides participants with personalised coaching from its team of Malibu pro-wakeboarders (including Parker Siegele, Lewy Watt and Bec Gange – just to name a few), as well as the opportunity to ride behind the all-new Malibu Wakesetter 23LSV. Whether giving it a go for the first time or picking up the finer points of inverts and spins, wakeboarders and wakesurfers of all abilities are encouraged to participate.

With the Victorian leg now complete, the crew is now venturing north to the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas – including a four-day stop at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

If you’re in Queensland and keen to get out behind the Malibu 23LSV while enjoying some coaching from world-class athletes, contact Northside Marine, Brisbane (07) 3265 8000 or JSW Powersports, Gold Coast (07) 5529 2616 to book your place.
