Club Marine confirmed as Australia’s highest circulation audited magazine by AMAA

Club Marine has again been confirmed as Australia’s highest circulation audited magazine by the Audited Media Association of Australia (AMAA) following the release of its latest figures for the July-December, 2017, period.

Club Marine’s Australian circulation was confirmed as 91,403 (including 4391 NZ subscribers), making it by far Australia’s highest circulation AMAA audited magazine.

The latest paid circulation figures also represent an increase of 1.85% over the corresponding July/Dec 2016 audit period, demonstrating strong audience growth.

“It’s obviously a great result and reaffirms the value our subscribers place on the magazine and its quality content,” said Club Marine publisher and CEO, Simon McLean

“It’s also especially gratifying considering a majority of print titles continue to see shrinkage in their circulation and readership figures,” he said.

“Importantly for the marine industry, the size and quality of the magazine’s audience represents a unique opportunity for the industry to communicate with Australia’s largest boating audience.

“As a strong participant and supporter of the marine industry, we encourage all marine businesses to speak to us about how we can help them reach the largest and most focused boating audience in Australasia.”

While some media organisations have withdrawn from the AMAA audit, McLean says Club Marine remains committed to the independent audit process.

“We are proud to underline Club Marine’s performance and value by participating in the AMAA audit,” he said.

“It allows advertisers and planners to accurately determine the effectiveness and validity of a campaign by providing an independent and transparent circulation measuring process. And we think that is important.”
