Get the most out of your Club Marine Boat Insurance

Understanding what your policy does and does not cover can be tricky. Watch this short video to help you spend more time enjoying your trailer sailer, and less time worrying about your insurance.

Trailer sailer Insurance from Club Marine

Boaties are a passionate lot. Our boat insurance is designed by insurance professionals with real boating experience and offers cover options to suit a variety of boats, boating lifestyles, and on water activities.

Depending on your boat we offer a choice of agreed or market value cover. Our liability cover, with options up to $20 million, automatically includes pollution clean-up costs up to $500,000, with options to increase if necessary.

You have the option of social or extended yacht racing, depending on whether you are into recreational racing, or prefer more serious competition.

Sailing requires equipment - Club Marine's cover for equipment and accessories is broad enough to include the wide range of safety and sporting, fishing and recreational equipment which you use on your boat.

We know that there's more to owning a boat than simply being out on the water, so we also include cover for your boat while it's being stored, and when it's on your trailer.

You can also nominate lay-up cover, and save money during the periods when you don’t use your boat.

COVER FOR YOUR TRAILER SAILER

We provide cover for accidental loss or damage, malicious damage and theft, including cover for masts, spars rigging and sails.

We understand that every trailer sailer is unique, so, depending on your boat, we let you choose between agreed and market value.

SOCIAL RACING COVER

When you’re racing, you don’t have time to worry about insurance. Club Marine's trailer sailer insurance automatically covers you for social racing. No forms or extra fees required.

For serious racing, you need serious cover. We offer optional cover for extended racing, including loss of entry fees up to $2,000.

LAY UP COVER

Our trailer sailer policy takes into account seasonal variations in use. If you keep your trailer sailer stored during winter, we offer discounted rates that still cover your vessel against storage risks like fire, theft and storm damage.

COVER FOR TOWING

In the event of an accident, Club Marine’s trailer sailer cover includes up to $1,000 to tow your trailer sailer and trailer to the nearest repairer.

Insurance is underwritten by Allianz Australia Insurance Limited (Allianz) ABN 15 000 122 850 AFSL No. 234708, GPO Box 9870, Melbourne 3000. Club Marine Limited (Club Marine) ABN 12 007 588 347 AFSL No. 236916 is a related body corporate and issues boat insurance as agent of Allianz.
