Club Marine boat insurance provides cover for accidental loss or damage to your boat, liability to other people arising from the use of the boat and certain types of significant injury or accidental death to the person/s named on the policy. Terms, conditions, limits and exclusions apply.
Yes, Club Marine may allow you to choose your own repairer or service provider for an approved claim. Subject to policy conditions including our right to request an alternative in some circumstances.
Yes, Club Marine offers flexibility in choosing your excess. Excess is the amount you contribute towards the cost of the claim. You can potentially reduce your boat insurance premium if you choose to increase the basic excess.
Yes, Club Marine boat insurance provides cover for assistance up to $10,000 (incl GST) following an emergency or unforeseen incident which gives rise to a claim, including:
- emergency fuel delivery
- returning your boat to your home or storage location following repairs
- reasonable costs of up to 5 nights of temporary accommodation and transportation home

The Hull Identification Number (HIN) may be displayed on a metal plate, or moulded or engraved directly onto the hull. Common locations on the boat can include:
- the starboard (right) side aft of the transom
- below the gunnel
- just above the swim platform
