2023 BIA Sustainability Award

3 July 2023
Sustainability in the boating industry award

The Boating Industry Association (BIA) has launched a Sustainability in the Boating Industry Award, and announced a call for nominations for the BIA Apprentice of the Year Awards 2023.

The inaugural Sustainability Award recognises companies or individuals who have demonstrated outstanding efforts in contributing towards sustainable business practices and/or supporting the sustainability of boating. Nominations are now open, and the winner will be announced at the Sydney International Boat Show (SIBS) in August.

The BIA is also calling for nominations for the Apprentice of the Year Awards, which recognises the outstanding contribution made by apprentices to the marine industry, as well as the importance of developing a strong future for training and careers. The awards are open to fourth-year apprentices working with a BIA member company, with state awards for Qld, NSW and SA. The overall winner will be announced at SIBS.

Details for both awards are available on the BIA website.
