New partnership unites insurance and marina leaders

9 February 2026|MEDIA RELEASE

Club Marine Insurance and d’Albora Marinas have forged a mutual partnership that will bring synergies, savings and service benefits to their respective members.

Both organisations are leaders in Australia - Club Marine as a recreational boating insurance provider and d’Albora being the nation’s largest premium marina and hospitality network with prime locations along the eastern seaboard.

The partnership allows d’Albora to promote special Club Marine pleasurecraft insurance offerings to its members via its website. In turn, Club Marine members will gain specific marina-related benefits.

These include a 10% markdown for casual berthing bookings made via d’Albora’s digital 'Book a Berth' portal. There will be further savings for Club Marine members when servicing their vessel at a d’Albora boatyards, including lifting, water blasting, hardstanding and antifouling packages

“The partnership seems a natural fit, as both companies are member-centric and have shared values when it comes to providing exceptional care for vessels and world-class customer experiences,” Club Marine CEO Tim Wiles says.

“In our case, we currently insure a large number of recreational boats that occupy d'Albora's 4000-plus permanent berths and dry stack racks. We also strive to support our members beyond their insurance needs, right through the ever-evolving stages of their boating journey.

“That includes visiting d’Albora marinas as they travel the coast between southern Victoria and northern Queensland, and availing themselves of the excellent servicing and refuelling facilities.”

Club Marine staff, assessors and salvage crews have a long association with d’Albora Marina staff, often working proactively together before and after severe weather events to minimise damage and facilitate repairs. This helps members of both companies.

“We’re excited to continue developing strong offers that deliver genuine value to our members’ boating lifestyle and on-water experience,” said d’Albora Managing Director, Julien Pouteau.

“Our new partnership with Club Marine represents a pivotal step forward, enhancing our value proposition through collaboration with Australia’s largest marine insurance group.

“The synergies between d’Albora and Club Marine are natural and mutually reinforcing, further strengthening our shared commitment to safety and security within the marine industry.”

To promote the partnership, Club Marine and d’Albora will share signage and branded content across both business.
