Beneteau Oceanis 52: New chapter for yachting icon

As the Beneteau Oceanis family celebrates its 40-year milestone, an all-new flagship has arrived to carry the legacy forward. Christened the Oceanis 52, it blends elegance with intelligence, building on the success of the 51.1 – a best-selling yacht in its category for six years.
Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show 2026 will be the Asia-Pacific launch pad for this 8th-generation 52-footer, drawn from the design board of Roberto Biscontini, with interiors by Nauta Design. Australian sailors will immediately appreciate its seaworthiness, space and functionality.
Beathing space, sailing pace
At 16.28m LOA and 4.84m beam, the Oceanis 52 is ideally sized for today’s cruising yacht sailors – particularly couples and families seeking a sailing boat with serious bluewater capability. Combined with a modern hull form and light-to-medium displacement, the 52 will clock sea miles with ease.
As a hallmark of Biscontini sailing boat hulls, maximum beam is carried aft to the transom, increasing both form stability and sailing power while delivering a reported 30 per cent gain in deck space compared with the Beneteau Oceanis 51.1.
Twin rudders keep the yacht tracking precisely even when heeled, while a self-tacking jib benefits short-handed sailing. The optional First Line package adds a taller mast and overlapping genoa.
The expansive diamond-shaped cockpit cleverly separates sailing functions from relaxation zones, allowing the skipper to trim sails efficiently while guests stretch out in the sun or sip a sunset aperitif.
Sailing boat with style
Below deck, abundant natural light illuminates a warm, contemporary interior. Generous cabins and a practical galley ensure life aboard remains comfortable on extended passages.
If you aspire to escape in a stylish, spacious ocean sailing yacht, dripping with innovation, come and experience the Beneteau Oceanis 52 first-hand, for the first time, at SCIBS 2026 through Beneteau dealers Spirit Marine and Flagstaff Marine.
